With the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the academic semester for both the Syracuse University and secondary school communities, Project Advance has implemented temporary policy changes in an effort to alleviate issues that have arisen.

These changes apply only to the Spring 2020 semester. If the current situation warrants extending some or all of these policies into the Fall 2020 semester, we will be sure to communicate that to our students, parents and school partners as necessary.

PASS/FAIL OPTION

For the spring 2020 semester only, undergraduate students will be permitted to choose a pass/fail (P/F) grading option for any Syracuse University courses for which they have registered. This option includes students in Project Advance course sections.

There are many important factors for SUPA students to consider before choosing this grading option since it may not be the best option for every student.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Project Advance is expanding our financial assistance support to our students and their families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in the hopes of alleviating some of the financial burden associated with enrollment in a Syracuse University course.

Qualified students will receive minimally a 50% reduction in the cost of tuition for the spring semester course(s) in which you are currently registered.
