Prof. Dutkowsky’s primary teaching and research interests are in macroeconomics and money and banking.

His research examines banking, monetary policy, the Federal Reserve, consumer behavior, and the determination of output and inflation.

Dutkowsky has published more than 40 works in scholarly journals, newspapers, textbook supplements, and grant reports.

Prior to joining Syracuse University in 1985, he taught at Clarkson University.
