No, you should register for the course and apply for ETA as soon as possible. If you make the decision to drop the class after you receive your invoice, complete a Drop Request Form, available from your instructor, and mail or fax it to the Project Advance office prior to the drop date as stated in the published calendar.
If you have not returned the signed application, send an email to
help@supa.syr.edu requesting that we remove your application from processing. Include your first name, last name, high school and Social Security Number.

Any registration not received within the time period posted on the registrar's calendar will be subjected to a late registration fee of $85. The registration time period posted on the registrar's calendar represents when we actually receive the registration in our office and not when you initially complete the application online. The late registration period typically extends 10 days beyond the regular registration period. A check in the amount of $85, payable to Syracuse University, must accompany any application received during the late registration period to be considered for processing. Only students registering for Syracuse University credit should complete the registration forms. If you are registering for more than one Syracuse University course, you should complete only one registration form per semester.

You should receive a course reference and section number from your instructor or you can verify the correct section by the class time.
Sign in using the SU I.D. number provided on your Syracuse University identification card or enter the email address that you used the last time you registered.
You can register for classes online by logging into our secure site at
https://pass.supa.syr.edu, using the sign-on procedure received from your instructor or by viewing the instructions shown on the
Registration Tutorial. Simply choose the course(s) you wish to register for and print out the Intent to Register Form for your parent/guardian to sign. Give the form to your instructor, who will forward it to Project Advance for processing. The
registrar's calendar, which is distributed to students and available on this website, outlines the critical dates in the registration process, including registration deadlines. Critical dates include when you may register for courses without penalty and the date when you may drop a class without any financial obligation to the University.
Course offerings are normally restricted to qualified high school seniors. However, students in their junior year are sometimes allowed to enroll in Project Advance sections of SU courses with approval from the appropriate Project Advance administrator and University faculty coordinator.
