Topics in recent years have included

"The Analytic of the Unconscious: Psychoanalytic Theories of Literature",

"Studies in the History of Myths: King Arthur", and

"Life writing: Women, Autobiography, and Memoir."

Since summer 1997, special Topics workshops have been held at Syracuse University’s Minnowbrook Conference Center at Blue Mountain Lake, New York. These voluntary workshops allow teachers to spend five days in a magnificent Adirondack retreat setting, taking courses taught by University faculty.

Participants can take these courses for workshop credit, or they can enroll (at a reduced tuition rate available only to Project Advance instructors) for graduate credit.
