During the last three decades, changes in science and technology have touched every area of human knowledge and altered our concepts of the physical universe, the natural world, and the humanities. Those developments have changed what is taught, altered how it is taught, and led to greater student involvement in the learning process.

To keep their courses and their classrooms on the leading edge of these developments, high school adjuncts for SU work side by side with their University colleagues. Recent course development has taken place in the following disciplines:

The English Cabinet, a geographically distributed and elected council of high school adjuncts, works with their campus colleagues to develop the structure and pedagogy for the evolving English and writing courses.
