Students register for SU classes during the first few days of the term. They can register for classes online by logging into our secure site at https://pass.supa.syr.edu and completing the form by choosing all the classes they wish to register for at one time. This may be done in a computer lab if the high school provides access, or it may be completed at home. After the student has completed the application online, it must be printed and signed by the student's parent/guardian. Students need to return signed applications to their instructors by the due date given. The registrar's calendar which is distributed to students, outlines the critical dates in the registration process including registration deadlines.

Students who have successfully completed prerequisite high school coursework are eligible to register for college courses. Syracuse University courses offered through Project Advance are most appropriate for students with at least a B average (overall and in the particular subject area) and demonstrated willingness to work hard. Courses are normally restricted to qualified high school seniors. However, students in their junior year are sometimes allowed to enroll in Project Advance sections with approval from the appropriate Project Advance administrator and University faculty coordinator. Students should speak to Project Advance instructors in their school or to their counselors if they have questions about their readiness for these courses. To receive SU credit, students must register and pay the required tuition.
