Prof. Lewandowski teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses, including the introductory psychology course.

He is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist and a member of the school psychology training program.

Lewandowski has published extensively on brain-behavior relationships in children, particularly those with learning and attention disorders. He is on the editorial boards of the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Report, the Journal of Attention Disorders, Journal of Attention and Related Disorders, and the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment, in addition to being an ad hoc reviewer for several other journals.

He is a consultant on disability issues to the National Board of Medical Examiners and several state boards of bar examiners. His current research involves computer-assisted assessment and interventions for students with learning and testing difficulties. He is co-developer of an online system (TestTracker) designed to help students become better test takers.
