Prof. Evensky designed and developed the one-semester introductory economics course for Syracuse University (SU).

As part of that project, he authored the text Economics: The Ideas and the Issues and the CD-ROM Interactive Economics for the course curriculum.

His research interests include Adam Smith’s moral philosophy, ethics and economics, institutions and economics, and economic education.

Before joining the SU faculty in 1985, Evensky taught secondary social studies in the Webster Groves (Missouri) School District and economics at Hamilton College.
