FAQ

The Future Plans Form asks students to let us know where they plan to attend college.

Go to the link at http://pass.supa.syr.edu/students. You will need your 9 digit SU ID number and your password (your date of birth as mmddyy) to login.

Syracuse University requires that students be provided with a formal opportunity to comment on their experiences in all University courses. This requirement extends to students who take Syracuse University courses through Project Advance as well.

The course evaluations serve two purposes: (1) To provide direct feedback to the instructors for use in planning to teach the course in the future, and (2) to provide campus liaisons with information concerning the overall effectiveness of the course curriculum and areas for ongoing improvement.

Yes, the instructors can login to view their course evaluation using their Course ID and the Form ID containing the number 9915.

Please make sure you are entering your correct 9 digit SU ID number and your date of birth. If you think you are entering the correct information with no success, please call our office at 315-443-2404 for assistance.

  1. To provide the information necessary for Project Advance to advise students on actions they will need to take to transfer their SU courses.
  2. To confirm the students' contact information and college enrollment expectations in preparation for the Post-Graduate survey that collects information used to advise future students.

The Future Plans Form is administered in two ways. Students who are enrolled in courses in the Spring semester complete the Future Plans Form at the same time they complete their Course Evaluations. Students who have taken SU courses but are not registered for Spring semester courses are contacted directly via email and/or mail with instructions about how to complete the form.

Course evaluation materials will arrive at the school approximately three weeks before the end of the course. Fall course evaluation materials are mailed from our office on December 15th. Spring course evaluation materials are mailed from our office around May 15th. An email will be sent to all teachers informing them that the packets have been mailed.

Since student confidentially is essential to course evaluations, it is important to have someone other than the instructor administer the evaluation. The instructor may arrange to have another instructor, an aide, or administrator assist the students.

If students encounter difficulties while completing the online evaluation, contact Project Advance Research & Evaluation by phone at 315-443-2404 or by email at evaluation@supa.syr.edu. Our engineers will work with you to resolve any difficulties.

Most students will take 15-30 minutes to complete the evaluation.

Students should complete the evaluation during the last two weeks of the course.
