Intro. to Frontend Web Development

If you want to learn how to plan, design, and implement a website, IST 263 will teach you how.

Through this class, you will become proficient in HTML, CSS, and PHP and learn how to use a Content Management System (CMS) to design your final project.

This is an intensive class with real-world applications. By the end, you should be able to build a website for yourself, a friend, a small business, or an organization.

Combining entrepreneurial methods with real-world projects, IST 263 is an intensive course that covers the construction and publication of multimedia for the web. Students study and use a user-based approach to planning, design, implementation, and management of the websites, all with an entrepreneurial focus. Students should become very proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript. After taking the course, every student will have the ability and confidence to design and program a website for a small- to medium-sized business or organization.
