Dr. Pusch joined Project Advance in 2001 as part of the evaluation team, becoming the Project Advance instructional designer in 2003. He is responsible for the development of online materials and courses at Project Advance. Pusch is a member of Syracuse University's University Senate Committee on LGBT Concerns. He is active in the Syracuse community and volunteers as a youth group facilitator for AIDS Community Resources in Syracuse. Pusch has presented papers at the annual conferences for the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) and the National Association of Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA). He also has a recent publication in the Journal for Lesbian and Gay Issues in Education. Pusch has taught IDE 654: Integrating Technology into Teaching, and currently teaches IDE 736: Motivation in Instruction in the School of Education.
